Digitalisation made easier: BWMK (Behinderten-Werk Main-Kinzig e.V.) migrates to xbound
Reasons to migrate its previous data capturing solution to the xbound Product Suite included superior process management, ease of use and foxray AG’s attractive licensing model
Norderstedt, Germany, 26 January 2012 - The Grossauheim rehabilitative workshop – a BWMK Group workshop specialising in scanning and process services – is replacing its old input management solution, Captiva InputAccel, with the xbound Platform and xbound Scan Clients from foxray. The xbound Product Suite provides considerable benefits in terms of scalability, reliability and cost-effectiveness in everyday operations.
The Behinderten-Werk Main-Kinzig e.V., a workshop for the disabled, is a non-profit organisation carrying out voluntary welfare work. Its 47 centres provide services for disabled people. The medium-sized enterprise with around 600 employees provides a wide spectrum of services including housing, work and qualifications for children (disabled or otherwise) as well as advice and support for any situation. The BWMK was looking for a replacement for its existing input management solution in order to optimise its scanning and process services. The goal was to configure the appropriate processes faster and more transparently and, therefore, more efficiently. With the new xbound Platform, among other things, all documents required to clear credit transactions for a well-known bank will be processed on a daily basis. As before, PROSAR-AIDA, from foxray’s technology partner Paradatec, will be implemented for document classification and data extraction – deeply integrated into xbound.
A major advantage of the xbound Product Suite was foxray AG’s attractive licensing model and the ability for the BWMK’s own employees to control the software, giving them greater flexibility in their everyday business. foxray’s licensing model includes an unlimited number of post-processing workstations and allows simple, transparent scaling, such as additional functions or modules, without any hidden license costs. The xbound Product Suite provides highly configurable interfaces, reduced start-up times compared to its predecessor and allows considerably better monitoring of all processes. Michaela Reil, Institution Head at BWMK (Behinderten-Werk Main-Kinzig e.V.), said: “Another vital reason why we chose this software is that we analyse its suitability for people based on customer requirements, in order to achieve the maximum possible level of human participation in our work. We are looking forward very much to doing this ourselves in the future.”
Michael Spiess, Director Sales at foxray AG, said: “We are very pleased to welcome the BWMK as a new user of our xbound Product Suite. Our experience in migration proves that data capture platforms need more functionality now than ever. A modern platform like xbound provides numerous advantages and considerably broader functionality, far exceeding those of standard systems on the market.”
