Michael Spiess appointed New Director Partners & Alliances at foxray AG
Norderstedt, 6th October 2010 – Michael Spiess became the new Director Partners & Alliances at foxray AG on 1st October 2010. In this newly created position, he is responsible for the indirect sales of the product suite xbound and reports directly to Head of Sales & Marketing Torsten Malchow.
“With xbound, foxray AG offers a recognised, highly scalable platform solution for input management, which has been on the market for over four years. xbound is unique as a technology-neutral integration platform and is particularly attractive for partners, from a technological as well as business perspective. While many major market players reorganise their sales model to the detriment of the partnership and focus more on direct sales, the aim of foxray AG is to expand partner sales. The corporate goal of foxray AG is based on continual growth with the xbound platform. We can only achieve this growth in collaboration with strong partners who have excellent knowledge of their markets, regions and customers. I believe that the market share of the larger medium-sized companies, as well as major customers can only be acquired in cooperation with established system integrators and service providers” says Michael Spiess.
Previously, Michael Spiess was responsible for the sales organisation of Kofax Deutschland AG and was primarily involved in restructuring the company in the direction of enterprise software sales.
“We are delighted to have gained Michael Spiess as a very experi-enced colleague and together with the xbound community we look forward to many new valuable ideas” says Torsten Malchow.
“I’m looking forward to contributing my sales experience to foxray AG and I’m convinced that we will establish ourselves as one of the major platform providers for input management systems on the German-speaking market in the coming years. My top priority is to develop our partnerships in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also across Europe” says Michael Spiess.
