xbound Collect Components

Documents can be delivered to the xbound Platform via various channels (paper, e-mail, fax, web forms etc.). Suitable components are available for collecting the documents, for instance ISIS-compatible scanners for fax and e-mail servers.

xbound Signature Components

Document-driven processes can be made legally binding and compliant using verified digital signatures. Components are available for assigning digital signatures to documents in batches using a single PIN number. xbound supports client- as well as server-side digital signature.

xbound Imaging Components

For some processes it is necessary to visually edit and process images, for example scanning of paper documents. xbound Imaging Components offer a wide range of image optimisation and conversion functions. These include automatic cropping, alignment and colour adjustment, intelligent reverse side elimination, punched hole detection, manual retouching, inspection and quality control.

xbound Identify Components

Documents can be delivered to the xbound Platform in an unsorted manner. Classification allows for correct processing, e.g. entire mailroom processing. Therefore, each incoming document can be sent to the right person or back-end system. xbound Identify Components also detect multiple business transactions related to a single document.

xbound Transform Components

If data is required from a document that is not yet available in digital format (for example scanned invoices), it is automatically captured and extracted.

Various components are used depending on the use case. Forms, general unstructured documents and specialist technical documents can be processed.

xbound Quality Components

Quality is a critical factor in document-driven processes. xbound Quality Components allow for structural and substantive examination of documents and document folders. Within xbound, documents can be registered before they are processed and then monitored throughout the document process.

xbound Integration Components

After or during processing within the xbound Platform, documents need to be fed into a vast variety of systems. Respective systems (back-end systems, digital archives, individual workflow systems, etc.) and components are integrated via xbound Integration Components. This eliminates the need to create isolated solutions when setting up document-driven processes.
